The 5-day 4-night International Student Science Fair (ISSF) was the first international science convention that I attended. Throughout the four days, we got to experience the many facets of working in the field of sciences, such as research idea generation, carrying out experiments in laboratories and finally, sharing with other scientists. We attended several talks conducted by Nobel Prize laureates and scientific entrepreneurs and even presented our submitted projects to fellow participants. From this convention, I have gained a better understanding of the processes behind new scientific discoveries, as well as the skills and attributes needed to embark on a science-related career.

My project, the development of a solar storm radio telescope.

Me presenting my project to other participants and judges.
